Centri-KID

Centri-Kid offers a camp experience that will grab kids’
attention and capture their hearts through high-energy worship,
interactive, kid-friendly Bible study, and lots of fun!

What does a typical day at Centri-Kid look like?

8:30 am*: Each child learns how to meet alone with their Creator, read the Word, and hear what He has to say to them during Quiet Time

9 am: I Can’t Wait! is the loud, high-energy, revved-up A.M. celebration that sets the pace for each day! Watch out for flying beach balls!

9:30 am: Recreation - Hot, sweaty, and with big smiles on their faces, students work in teams to accomplish fun and challenging activities that always tie into the spiritual theme of the day.

10:30 am: In Bible Study, students experience interactive Bible study taught by one of the Centri-Kid staffers. This group will also serve as their team for recreation!

12 Noon: Lunch - Recharge on tater tots and pudding for an afternoon of fun!

1:30 pm: Track A - There's something for everyone. Choose an organized activity from a huge variety: one of the CK sports, Kitchen Chaos, Baby-Sitting 101, and more!

2:45 pm: Track B - Another chance to choose a track – maybe this time I’ll pick Archery, Splish Splash, or Lawn Games.

3:45 pm: Free Time! Students can go swimming, visit the camp store, hang out with the staff, or get a snow cone!

6:30 pm: Evening Worship led by the Camp Worship Leader and Pastor will bring you and your Students to a tender, intimate, and life-changing place with the Lord.

7:30 pm: Church Group Devotions are a time for you to get together as a church family so kids can talk about the day, make a spiritual application, and share in the life-change.

8:30 pm: Party - Some nights at Centri-Kid, we’ll have an all-camp activity and other nights the party happens when staff hang out with your kids!

What do I need to bring to camp?
Linens, towels, pillows, clothes to wear to ministry site, clothes to wear to worship, bible, toiletries, sunscreen, camera, spending money for snacks, Fuge gear, and the missions offering.

What should my students not bring to camp?
Alcohol, tobacco, illegal drugs, fireworks, any kind of weapon, radios, portable CD players, MP3 players, water guns, water balloons, skateboards, and rollerblades.

2008 Theme: LIGHTS... CAMERA... ACTION!

There are two things which separate a great movie from an OK one: a great movie has to have a great story and a great cast. This year at camp, we’re going to take a look at the most amazing, fantastic story ever told: it’s God’s story and His Son Jesus is the star. The great news is that He lets you and I have a small role in His incredible story of redemption. Lights... Camera... Action!
